Adrienne Donnelly

Adrienne founded her business, Organised by Adrienne, in November 2016, after recognising a need for all-round support for small business owners in the Newcastle area. With a background in operations management, Adrienne has always had a passion (and a knack) for organisation and coordination. She has made it her mission to ensure every ‘t’ is crossed and every ‘i’ is dotted, offering ultimate peace of mind to the businesses and individuals she supports. Adrienne believes outsourcing is key to business success, especially for small business owners, and works with clients around Australia to help them lighten the load, and get back to doing what they love.

In February 2019, Adrienne co-founded the Newcastle Virtual Assistants Network, a community of almost 300 local VAs, which she and her co-founder support through events and professional development. Through this organisation, Adrienne also helps match local business owners with Virtual Assistants.

In December 2024, Adrienne acquired Seed Virtual Assistants, a national organisation that trains and mentors both new and established Virtual Assistants.

Adrienne is also currently serving as the President of Gen Collective, a local networking association for professional women in the Hunter.

It’s easy to see that Adrienne is deeply passionate about supporting women in business and creating meaningful connections between like-minded women.

“I believe no woman should feel like she has to do business alone. Community has been the most
powerful driver in my own journey, not just for growth, but for support, inspiration, and perspective. When women come together to share their experience, knowledge and encouragement, it creates a ripple effect that lifts us all. That’s why I’m so passionate about building networks that remind us we don’t have to wear
every hat, know every answer, or do it all ourselves.”
